Novel Study Certificate Course

Would you like to ensure that your students develop critical reading skills? Are you eager to engage your students in thoughtful discussions about literature? Come join our upcoming Novel Study course designed to help primary English teachers (grades 3 to 5) teach novels effectively. This intensive week-long course will help English teachers develop strategies to teach critical reading skills and analytical writing skills. The course will also help teachers develop many of the key skills necessary to prepare students for the grade 5 checkpoints.

Instructor: Kavita Kurian (Kavita has an MEd from The University of Queensland, Australia, and a diploma in library science from Bookworm, Goa. She previously taught at the American International School, and she currently runs TREE's Reading Magic program.)
